I would not stay here. It's not a short walk from the train station as mentioned in the description. It's at least a 25 minute walk and with luggage it's not an easy walk. The water taxi is needed but hard to maneuver with luggage. Next the place smelled of sewage but the biggest issue was we had no hot water for our entire 2 day stay so we had to take cold showers. We contacted the host who said he'd send a plumber but never did until we asked again. Then we had to wait to let them in. When they arrived they spoke no English so we couldn't communicate and they didn't know where the plumbing was as it appeared they had never been to that property before. They spent an hour while we waited and could not fix as the motor broke, so we had to communicate that to the host. He told us a Technician would be coming in the morning and asked if we could let them in. We were leaving the next day and said we couldn't. The doorbell rang at 7 AM while we were still sleeping. They came back at 9 AM so we let them in as we were leaving. They did not speak English and again did not know where the plumbing was so we had to translate again before we left. The amount of time spend dealing with these workers while on vacation was unacceptable and the host has yet to respond to any of my correspondence since we left. He agreed to compensate us for the inconvenience and time away from our vacation, but the minute we left we have not heard from him. Very disappointing and unprofessional. Stay away.
