We had an amazing time staying in Mira. The property was in a quiet little town with easy access to Venice. The rooms were large and comfortable. The little bar beside the property served amazing Aperol Spritz’ and it was easy access to the grocery store. This was the perfect property to avoid overcrowded tourist cities and experience authentic Italy while having easy access to day trip into the cities.
We recently stayed here for a girls trip to Italy and we were so impressed by this house! The owners were extremely helpful and responsive when we had a question. The house was clean and beautiful and I really appreciated the book the owners left with transportation, entertainment, and dining suggestions! We were also lucky
We got to check out Mira and Dolo- we really loved this town right next door. The Villa was large and very spacious, the extra beds in both of the apts (2 of four) were really nice! The AC was a nice addition since it was so hot outside. The bus to Venice was convenient - around 30 min in and a little longer on the way home. The Villa was wonderful and I would stay here again!
This is a beautiful apartment that accommodates large groups. Jenny was very helpful. She met us at the apartment and walked us through local transportation, grocery, and eating options. The location was perfect for easy access for all! Extreme temperatures during our stay challenged the A/C but we were happy to have it in Venice!
Wonderful old Palazzo, Great flat with a lot of Space. Save parking in the backyard. Unfortunately Loud music from the bar nearby on friday Night. We had to sleep with closed Windows. Perfect Location in the old town Center directly to the River Brenta.
This historic dwelling in Mira Porte was perfect for my family of 4 and 2 friends traveling with us. It was clean, spacious, and located in a very quaint area. The private parking was an excellent feature.
We loved the restaurant just across the canal, Osteria Ae Porte, for both dinner and a cappuccino to get started in the morning. The staff were all very friendly and the food was excellent!
It was also a very convenient location to catch the bus into Venice. The convenient store across the canal sells bus tickets which was perfect.
This VRBO is an excellent choice when visiting Venice. You will not be disappointed. I hope my family and I can return again in the future!
Everything about the historic house was perfect for our group and needs. The location was great for us - right in the old part of Mira, on the canal. There was a wonderful little trattoria across the street and a small but perfectly appointed market about a 10 minute walk away. We have good friends in Padova which was only a 30 minute drive away. We also took the train to Venice - the station is about 15 minutes away. Pietro was a great host. We needed extra towels and bedding which he made sure to grt to us very promptly. The house itself was very comfortable and well appointed. We were a multigenerational family group of 7. Everyone had their own space - and bathroom which was a total bonus. And there was enough room in the kitchen for us to all have a meal together. I also appreciated the local artwork and history of the house which was hung on the walls. We would absolutely stay here again.
We found this vrbo because we needed a place off Venice proper where we could park a 9 passenger van & have transportation access. This VRBO was perfect for this! Parking in rear. Very short walk to bus to get to Venice.
Because we arrived in the early evening on the first night, we drove north to a lovely town, Dolo, which was recommended by our host. Enjoyed long walk and a great supper.
Our host & daughter were wonderful to communicate with. The facility was lovely & comfortable. We enjoyed gathering at the large kitchen table and the living area couches.
The listing mentions it being on first floor, but there is a short flight of stairs to the entry.
Also, I was informed that the host had no relationship with the Inn at the Post, thus no coupon existed as noted on the description.
Those are minor issues with what was overall a very positive experience.
Our host connected us to an amazing local guide, Beatrice, through Venice Luxury Services who we used for a Venice walking tour. Highly recommend her.
Using VLS was a luxury, not a necessity. But, their expertise made our visit less stressful and more streamlined.
Our hosts were unbelievably cordial.
The ho.se was beyond our expectations!
We loved our time in every aspect of our near 48 hours stay. Our hosts were terrific before during and after our visit. We couldn't have asked for more.
The apartment and the hosts were a great experience. We were lucky and had the whole place to ourselves. Nice, clean, newly renovated. Airy atmosphere, lots of space and easy to go shopping. The kitchen needs some cooking bowls and a roasting pan for the oven. Very easy to park your car in the back yard. You can use the great bus service to Venice, just 1/2 hour and you are at the Venice bus station. That is a lot(!) easier than trying to park at the overcrowded parking house. A great stay!
Great stay for my family of five while visiting Venice. The checkin process was extremely easy, with great communication from the host Piedro and his wife. We were met by his wife at the property when we arrived, where she provided us a quick tour, and recommendations on where to eat and purchase and grocery items. She also provided tips on getting into Venice. The location was perfect, with east access to restaurants in Dolo, and just a short drive to the train station, which is a 23 minute ride into Venice.
The property had more than enough space for our needs with three teenagers. Everyone had space to themselves when needed, yet we could all be together in the main room. We did not use the kitchen for any cooking or eating.
Overall, very highly recommended. Great hosts and a great property!
This place was awesome! Our group of 7 was made up of 3 singles and two couples. The set up is wonderful. The rooms are huge, the beds were very comfortable, the sofa’s that make out into beds are in a separate area from the bed itself in several of the rooms (maybe all but I don’t remember). The bathrooms are very nice too. The common living and kitchen area were both set up well. We loved the area it was in and ate at the restaurant across the street both nights. It was good and not very expensive. We had snacks and drinks at the bar across the street as well. The bus stop is very walkable and the ride into and back from Venice was an easy one. We wish we could have stayed longer but were only there for a few days to visit Venice. We highly recommend this place.
Our family of 5, with 3 teenagers enjoyed our three night stay at Dimora Scaldeferro. Each bedroom is generously sized with its own bathroom. Kitchen has everything necessary. There is a comfortable common area, living room. Air conditioning was wonderful during 100 degree days. Location is convenient for exploring Venice, Padova, and beyond. Eating options and grocery in walking distance. Parking was private and easy. Some street noise if one is sensitive to that, but overall wonderful location.
We had the most amazing time for three nights from 31 july to 3 august 2019 at Mira. From arrival to help with all queries and information on travel around was provided to us by Maria (owner). The property is located in a safe, beautiful and busy area of Mira . which worked out perfect for us to get to restaurant, take-away pizza place and ice-cream parlors. Cannot fault anything about or within the property. Villa was extremely Spacious, fully equipped Kitchen, clean rooms & bathrooms. We appreciated the excellent operating aircon as it was extremely hot for the days of our stay. Great parking space. We would come again and recommend it highly to all !!
We were in 3 family's- togeher 10 people. When we came Maria already was there waiting for us :) Showed us the home and gave us all necessary information about buses, good pizza places and ice cream. We get also welcome gift :) it was very nice - thank you :)
About the house - it was great, every room with own bathroom and air conditioning - clean and fresh linen and towels. Kitchen well equipped, great big room for evening integration:)
It was great stay, Thank you :)
