"Beautiful location. Property is gorgeous. The only downfall is there's no insulation in the roof and it's a metal roof. So as a sun heats the metal it pops and makes lots of noise as well as when it cools down at night it contracts and pops and makes lots of noise so it's hard to sleep if you don't have some kind of a background noise like ocean waves or a fan. But it's still definitely worth the stay as it's gorgeous and you can hear howler monkeys."

"I got a single at Garden House and paid for the pick-up service from the airport. As a solo female traveler, I was nervous about staying here by myself, but everything was great! Gerardo picked me up right on time, safely drove me to the property, and showed me around the house. The managers kindly shared go-to spots around San Jose and nearby areas. The room was clean and tidy (and had AC). There are beautiful plants everywhere and an adorable little dog named Holly. Lastly, the breakfast was delicious! I would definitely come back and recommend this place to my friends/family."

"Inserted in the tropical cloud forest, this place is magic. The Toro Amarillo river taints the stones orange and gives a constant roaring, the congos haul to contrast with the crickets and cicada's background rhythm. But most of the healing comes from the hot, yellowish mineral spring water pool, alternating with the very cold, crystal clear spring water. While the cabins are rustic, the staff are all wonderful. We will come back for another “forest bathing”, and perhaps a zip-line adventure. Many thanks!!!"

"What an incredible week! We saw more animals on the grounds of our property than on our various trips in search of those animals during the week. The staff was exceptionally helpful. Our balcony view was both relaxing and entertaining. The breakfast was great and the pool area exceptional. We wished the restaurant was a little more affordable, and the road throughout the property could use some maintenance, but the friendliness of the staff and the awesome grounds made those shortcomings easy to forget."
