"This is such a great place to stay!! Yes it seems old but well taken care of. We had a canal view room with a balcony, it was a winner!! The room was spacious and clean. Staff were helpful with the luggage. Breakfast wasnt too bad either, could be a bit better but still great. Had good variety but quality was a bit low. AC in the room could use a repair, at some points it wasnt cold. Wifi was great. Location was very convienent, right next to the train station which meant we didnt carry any luggage upany stairs. We walked everywhere from that location, lots to see."

"The location near the airport is convenient but you feel like you are far away with the pleasant garden area, pool, and patios. Everything was great however the air conditioning did not cool properly. That's the only suggested fix."

"EXCELLENT!!! Front desk: Giordana Fato was so kind and gave us precise instructions for going from Santa Lucia Station to the hotel. Always with a smile for helping us. Room: we were at 226 room, it is fantastic!! In a corner, it has an amazing view to the channels, at night it’s like to be inside a postcard sight! It was so comfortable, clean, the windows have screens avoiding the mosquitoes. The amenities are so nice. Breakfast: Fabulous! First of all, the two ladies in charge the breakfast room are so welcoming, always with a smile and an attitude to please the hosts. The meal is delicious: the best fresh made scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, cream cheese, several type of breads, fruits, juices. My favourite part: cucumber and tomate salad!! Simply but so tasty and fresh. Every kosher, every fresh. Really, the best breakfast ever. Location: Campo di Ghetto Nuovo is a nice area, with Venetian neighbours, there is a police station kiosk in the square and it feels so safe no matter if come back to the hotel after you were galavanting late hours at night. 4-5 minutes walk from aquatic bus stations, I recommend to get a transport card, available for 24, 48 or 72 hours. No hesitate to choose this hotel when you go to Venice, I would like to come back and stay with them again "

"The Plaza Hotel is very conveniently located across the street from the Venice-Mestre Train Station. We arrived on a very rainy evening and we didn't even get wet to ge to the hotel. The city bus to the Venice Marco Polo Airport and the airport shuttle is just about a block down the street. THe room is spacious and clean although a bit outdated. There was a good variety of food for the continental breakfast. I will definitely stay there again. "
