The apartment was clean, true to the listing photos, and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment, dishes, cutlery, all that. It's an ideal size for 1 or 2 people, I wouldn't recommend more than that as it would get tight. It did get pretty hot in the unit (no AC), but my partner and I were able to get some airflow going by using the two fans supplied. The bed wasn't super comfortable to us, might be better for folks who prefer firmer mattresses.Location wise, you're in east Vancouver. It's about a 10-minute walk to the nearest train station, then you need to take a couple trains to get downtown (about 15 minutes). If you want to get to places like Kitsilano, you're looking at about an hour-long commute on a bus. My partner and I opted out of taking the bus for an hour, so we ubered instead, which costs between 15-30 bucks for central destinations.Louis was a great host. Her communication was solid and check in/check out were super easy. We arrived in Vancouver very late at night at there was no issue. If you're looking for a stay out of the business of central Vancouver and don't mind a bit of a commute, this is the place!
