I stayed at the Regina in a Madrid for a couple days and was very impressed. The location is super central and, while it's a smaller property, the amenities were top of class. In particular, the gym was one of the best I have seen for a hotel, especially one of this size. This will be high on my list of hotels to stay at in Madrid moving forward.

The hotel is okay, our shower was bad, it had mold all over, it was not clean, even when i ask them to clean it, mold remain on everything, we had to put a towel on the shower floor for us to step on it as we shower but the shower head was also very bad that showering felt more nasty than getting clean. Also, The water either comes out extremely hot or extremely cold, it doesn't work properly, we tried to get it to a correct temp didn't work. The location is 50/50 about 28 min walk to centro madrid. Breakfast was good but staying more than one night, it can get old fast as they dont do much of a variety. I do not think this hotel should be 4 stars it should be 2 stars. If we ever go back to madrid I will not stay here. The walls are paper thin, you can hear everything everything. Also be prepared to never watch TV English or anything they do not have any options for anything they expect for you to either use your phone to play a English show or nothing at all. Just go to a different hotel when your in nadrid.
