"It is not fancy and the television wasn't working the first night, the restaurant wasn't open for dinner but the views were stunning. We had a really yummy traditional breakfast for only $10 a plate which was our cheapest meal of the trip. We aren't picky We were just happy to be in Alaska "

The whole town lost power the first night and the host was able to be super helpful and even moved us to a different cabin that had a generator. Would highly recommend to family and friends. "

Anyone looking to head off into the last great frontier should have a stay at the Summit Lake Lodge for a night or two. Recommend renting the lakefront cabins, as waking up to a cup of coffee in bed with incredible views helps start any day with a smile. The host gave us a tour of all of his custom built cabins that he has on the property and was thoughtful enough to gift us a bottle of champagne for my girlfriend’s birthday.
