"Quiet Place"

"I called this hotel directly and asked if the pool and hot tub were open and working (because they are notorious for being broken) and I was told yes. Only to show up and they are in fact NOT open and have not been for a month. I was told I must have been on the call with an AI bot. I asked for a manager to call me in the morning. No call ever. I would never have stayed in this hotel and paid the amount of money I paid, if I had not been lied to. I could have saved money staying with a friend or at another lodging facility but I paid the money under the guise that there would be a functional hot tub and pool. I will never stay at this hotel again, even if they do get the pool and hot tub fixed… which I doubt will ever happen. "

"Our group of 4 fishermen had a fantastic week long stay in the Eagles Nest. Our group returns year after year because Ron and Katia are fantastic hosts who make sure we have everything we need and treat us as treasured guests. The property is beautiful and right on the river with fantastic views. Beds are comfy and the kitchen is well stocked. Best of all is the fabulous gazebo with the best fire pit in Alaska! Highly recommended."

"Excellent accommodations. 2 bedrooms , 11/2 baths, full equipped kitchen, and beautiful pavilion with a one of a kind fire pit. Truly enjoyed visiting with Ron and Katia. Cabin was wonderful and the scenery cannot be beat. We will definitely rent this wonderful place again on our next trip to beautiful Alaska!! Thanks to the host for helping to make our time in Alaska so wonderful!"
