「Nice place near Homer」

「The rental was great - bright, open and cheery, overlooking a creek with mountains in the distance. The amenities were also nice. Only 15 minutes to the best beach-combing and tide pooling, not to mention the Spit, harbor, wonderful shops and restaurants. There was little water pressure, but it was enough. Unfortunately, they switched us at the last minute to another top floor rental (not the one furnished and situated as pictured when we booked) - AFTER we had unpacked everything into the...

「We were very disappointed, as it did not match the pictures. Property was unkempt and overgrown with weeds. The outhouse had cobwebs and was not very clean. The cottage was a bit rundown, and poorly supplied. There were no paper towels or tissues, and only 2 little kitchen towels and 1 washcloth, so it was difficult to maintain any decent hygiene, or even wash the dishes. If you are considering this place, bring towels and all your own supplies. 」

「The cabin was conveniently located for our early morning fishing adventures. The view was awesome. The climb up the stairs maybe challenging for some with luggage. It was a great stay.」
