Our family are walkers. We walked everywhere.
Old town and the first beach were super easily accessible. We even walked to Mamaia Beach but we did Uber home. Super easy to get an Uber out front of the hotel. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating, especially for us non-Romanian speaking tourists. Breakfast was included, even eggs, which are rare to Romanians for breakfast for some reason.

Fantastic place! Beautiful property close to wild Vadu beach. Well equipped, tastefully decorated, super comfortable beds. The owners are super welcoming, kind people who give the hotel a personal touch. The food was also excellent. Highly recommended!

I loved my experience at Vega Hotel in Mamaia. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The food, both at the breakfast and the lunch was very good and diverse and all the plates were delicious. Congratulations to your chef! The staff at the beach were also very helpful ...

The property itself is super nice, clean. And the staff is awesome. BUT there is an oil refinery nearby, and when the wind blows from the refinery you can taste the oil in your mouth. We were lucky the wind changed direction and it only lasted for one day.
