"Lovely hotel in great location for easy walk into the town, local restaurants & pubs, plus National Trust sites too. Rebecca on reception is very friendly & helpful as are the other staff too. Very nice rooms which are clean & very comfortable but my only comments are there are no USB points in the rooms and the bathrooms although very clean & fairly spacious, are not as modern as other newer hotels. I also think hand grabs/rails would be very helpful when getting in & out of the overhead...

"Clean and very friendly staff. Unfortunately was a noisy stay. My room looked over the pub garden and the windows are old sash windows with a poor seal, so I could hear the pub garden revellers until closing."

"DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY THE PRETTY PHOTOS OF THE FRONT OF THE PROPERTY Worst stay we’ve ever had. We checked in and went straight out, after getting back at 1am the hotel was locked and nobody was around to let us in, we searched and shouted for 10 minutes by going round the back of the hotel (I cut my leg on a thorn bush trying to find a way in) and then finally somebody appeared just as we were about to decide we would sleep out in the car park.
