"The staff was amazing and helpful, however for a 5-star hotel, there was some issues I didn't expect with cleanliness such as dust, the carpet having multiple loose threads hanging out of it, a window missing a screen, and shower that did not function properly. The location is wonderful as was the afternoon tea and Thomas our hotel tour guide was wonderful."

"We loved Monsieur Jean! The location is perfect ,very central . Great for walking around the old town, good restaurants, walking distance to the train station. The room had a functional kitchenette complete with plates, cutlery, even some pots and pans and dishwashing liquid. Bathroom was wonderful. The closet was well designed as well. Our only issue was the A/C - there is no control for the fan volume so it’s always gale force winds when the air turns on. So if you want your room cooler, you will feel the wind if you are sitting at the little table. There are no other seats unless you sit on the bed which you want to avoid if you’re eating. The staff are all very helpful and pleasant. Would recommend this hotel."
