we were upgraded on arrival and the room was over the top amazing. Fabulous amenities, views and very comfortable. The hotel staff were exceptional in every way. If I had to pick on something, I could not take a glass of wine back to the room with me as the main floor restaurant is not part of the hotel, knowing that, next tie I will pop bottle of wine in the room fridge upon arrival

Jun 9, 2019The UBC Museum of Anthroplogy is quite moving -- many totem poles and artefacts of Pacific First Peoples. The UBC also has rather nice botanical gardens with a canopy walk. Near UBC are beaches where one can go out hundreds of yards on the tidal flats at low tide, with stunning views of Vancouver and all the giant ships in the channel waiting to come in.
