"I want to first say this is the hotel I stay at each time I visit family in the area. It is always clean and the staff is very friendly. Most of all I want to thank the staff and management of this hotel for their kindness and attentiveness to my family that stayed over the weekend. Several of us stayed here while having to attend my nieces funeral in January 2026. After explaining to the staff what we needed, they made sure we had rooms on the same floor so we could be together. When we wanted to visit together in the breakfast room later into the night, the staff checked on us and made sure we were all comfortable. Never once were we made to feel like we were being too much for them. We felt at home and were able to share family time during a very difficult period. Thank you to all the staff! You made a rough weekend so much better for my family. "

"I've visited annually for several years, facilities are good and staff was excellent. Disappointed in B'fast buffet that was part of the package; ran out of food 2 hours early. Thought they would offer a credit! "

"Very Happy with our stay. The house is less than 10 minutes to Elk and very convenient. Everything needed to stay was provided in addition towels, paper towel, toilet paper, and sheets. This was nice and convenient as other vrbos don’t always provide those items. Everything went smoothly and seamless with our check in, stay, and check out. I would highly recommend the house and Elk mountain. "

"Doors all slam, so you wake up any time someone on your floor goes in or out of their room. People were smoking in their rooms, smell came through fan in bathroom. Dirty carpets. Pretty shabby place. "
