The hotel is located in the jungle ravine. The staffWe're wonderful and the breakfast was very good. We are canadians in the middle of a dark winter and we were put in the basement room.That wasn't very light and bright. That is the only thing they could have improved on, possibly having a better room.

Simple but ok

The stuff was friendly and the room were very clean and good. We had a room with the balcony to a locals home. They had a bunch of dogs and cats. They were barking all day long even in the night. That was very frustraiting. The Breakfast was not really good. Just the normal stuff. We would have liked some special fruits and stuff like that.

Been to Ubud many times but first time staying there. The Best Westen was a great location and the room immaculate. Well done to the hotel staff. They all were very attentive. Buffet breakfast was good. There was a lot of choice. They run a shuttle bus every 2 hours to the centre. It is a 20min walk downhill. Last shuttle back is 9.15pm from the palace. I did have a wobbly toilet seat that I reported the first day and they fixed it perfectly straight away. (My only critic is - I am not sure why it was not picked up by staff when they cleaned /prepared the room though?). I did go out for the day and when I got back to untidy room, I realised I had kept my do not disturb sign on, my bad. I turned it off 3.20pm and went round the pool. Getting back to my room and hr later 4.30pm and room spotless. Bless them. They must have been waiting /checking for the light to go out. Fantastic service! There was some maintenance going on outside next to the buffet. They were laying a stone Terrace. One man, he wasn’t noisy and did almost complete by the time we left. It looked great. Area to focus on 1. - is a big one - maintenance on the decking around the pool needs semi urgent repair work. This include stair rail from top pool to lower pool wobbles. 2. Service wise around the pool was non-existent! There was a board behind the pool bar saying happy hour drinks, but there was nobody attending the bar. People were around 3-5pm. Also pool loungers cushions needed upper pool

The conditions of the common areas like the pool and restaurant is good, but rooms are not as well kept as shown in the pictures. Staff is really nice and accommodating.
