"We had a nice stay here and enjoyed the hot tub and pool especially. Our room was clean and we appreciated the appliances inside of our hotel room. The breakfast selection was a little lackluster, but overall we had a great stay here."

"My children were in a friend's wedding in Pittsburgh so my husband and I decided to make a mini vacation out of it. I happened to find this listing and we decided to book it for a unique experience. My children absolutely loved the houseboat! It was located in a great location with very short driving distances to anywhere we wanted to go but was pretty quiet other than the trains which was extremely nice! Check in and out was a breeze and we really appreciated that we didn't have to start laundry or take out trash while trying to get the kids packed up and ready to head home. We really enjoyed our stay and loved to be able to just sit out on the deck of the boat at night. "

"After a rocky start with the choices housekeeping made after dealing with a an unexpected washer breakdown, the remainder of our stay was lovely. The owner was apologetic & handled the inconvenience fairly. The home is in a great location with an easy, scenic walk to Sewickley’s restaurants & shopping. Furniture is comfortable, quality linens & towels are provided & the owners are very generous in providing supplies like coffee & paper products. The hot tub is a wonderfully relaxing amenity & the bathroom shower is roomy with great shower heads & water pressure! We truly enjoyed front porch sitting & our 9 night stay at the Boxwood House. "
