We really enjoyed staying at Screened Inn. The online description is very accurate, but it doesn't say just how cool the accessories and decorations are in the place. The whole experience felt very authentic to the time frame of the property. We loved the front porch and spent a good bit of time there. The beach access isn't "typical" but walking through the secret passway felt like a grand adventure. Dealing with Mermaid Cottages was the easiest communication with property managers I've ever experienced. They were available on the spot, courteous, helpful and so polite. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay again.

An amazing family trip!

The house was well appointed and in an amazing location both on the island and to get to Savannah and surrounding attractions. The private beach access was amazing. The house was comfortable and we appreciated the historical significance of the property. I could not believe that we had neighbors, it was so quiet. A king size bed in the master would have made for a better night sleep, but the property is pretty much perfect. We would love to visit again! Thank you!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The stay at Tybee with Mermaid Cottages is always wonderful. This cottage is laid our wonderfully, the kitchen and screened porch were our favorite hang out spots. I will have to say, the mattresses are over firm and somewhat uncomfortable. Great location, close to beach, and all amenities as we've grown to love!

Our Favorite Place

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Screened Inn during our last seven consecutive visits to Tybee Island, and we plan to stay there again soon. Screened Inn is located on the North end of the island, very close to the beach and the lighthouse. It's a very quiet location, and convenient to everywhere on Tybee Island. The Inn is always spotlessly clean, and the Mermaids are so responsive and helpful. We just love it...
