Turtle Cove

Turtle Cove featuring a marina and a coastal town
At this picturesque cove, stroll by the yacht-filled marina, enjoy fresh seafood from one of the local restaurants and take part in a range of exciting watersports.

Turtle Cove is a lively area with restaurants, bars and a bustling marina, right in the heart of Providenciales’ north coast. Stay at one of the many local resorts and enjoy picturesque views of the ocean. Relax in luxury accommodations, sample international cuisine and enjoy activities such as fishing, snorkeling, waterskiing and diving.

Admire the glamorous boats on display in Turtle Cove Marina. The marina has served the island since 1988 and can accommodate more than 100 boats, ranging from small dinghies to impressive yachts. Take a romantic walk around the area, breathe in the sea air and enjoy the relaxed pace of island living. Check out some of the local restaurants that specialize in international cuisine, ranging from Italian to fresh seafood typical of the Turks and Caicos Islands. Share a bottle of wine and enjoy your meal against the picturesque backdrop of the ocean.

The cove is just a short walk from the beach around Smith’s Reef. Try snorkeling to get a closer look at the fascinating marine life, which includes hawksbill turtles, sea cucumbers, anemones and green parrotfish. Rent fishing equipment from an operator on the marina and see if you can hook a catch. If you are feeling energetic, choose from the many activities available nearby, which include waterskiing, Jet Skiing and banana boat rides. You can also find an 18-hole golf course on the island. Several diving and watersports agencies also operate around the marina.

Rent a car or bicycle to cruise around the island’s beautiful scenery with ease. Take a 10-minute drive to the popular Grace Bay Beach, where you can sunbathe on the pristine, white sand or have a refreshing swim in the clear water.

Turtle Cove is located on the central north coast of Providenciales, a 3-mile (4.8-kilometer) drive from Providenciales Airport. It is situated west of Bight Park and Coral Gardens, which form part of the Princess Alexandra National Park.

Excellent beach access and nearby snorkeling! You'll see tons of tropical fish along the ocean floor and the jetties.

Turtle cove is nice and the marina is large. Had lunch at Mango Reef which was delicious. There is still much damage from hurricane Irma although they are hard at work with renovations and repair in various places.
