"The location was very good and secured also the gift shops, restaurants including Marguritaville, Starbucks and others are just across the street. White sand beach just behind the property. The reception was very friendly and accommodating. The grounds were manicured but the pool was dirty and unusable. Repairs to the compound and roof were still being repaired from hurricane Melissa damage which is understandable. The room itself was extremely dated... 1950 or 60's. The sofa was old saggy and soiled.. Tge reception was very kind and gave me a clean sheet to throw over it. I slept on top of the bed because under the cover sheets apperanced stained. Everything could be easily fixed by the owner of the unit. For the one night it was doable. The units are all privately owned and maintained so perhaps a different unit may be more updated."

"Saga Palma Hotel was a great place to stay. I really enjoyed the authentic Jamaican breakfast each morning, and the hospitality from the staff was excellent throughout. The team were welcoming, helpful, and genuinely good people, creating a relaxed and positive atmosphere. They kindly allowed me to store my belongings after checkout so I could explore more of the island, which I really appreciated. They also helped arrange a driver for me to visit my family’s area in Jamaica, which made the experience even more special. The hotel itself has a lovely rooftop pool and a great overall vibe. Staff were professional, friendly, and made the stay feel easy and comfortable. Wishing the team continued success — I’d definitely recommend Saga Palma Hotel to anyone visiting Jamaica."

"Pull up to the front desk it wasn’t bad but that area could use a little work. The gentleman at the front desk was pretty professional. The property could use a some renovation also. Pool area was clean. Proceed to the room area I must say it was clean smell good and all I could need for a weekend getaway was there. My only problem I had is that I ask for a dueen bed and I think what I get was two double. But I’m not one for complaining so it was all good. I will definitely be going back there."

"Upon entering the apartment we were hit with a very damp unpleasant smell that couldn’t be covered with Lysol or other air fresheners. Even the bedding and couches carried this odor. The housekeeper provided us with a new set of linens and was very helpful when we needed her. The garden view from the patio is beautiful, but the view of the beach is obstructed by a tall iron fence. We were unable to walk directly onto the beach from the property. Instead, you have to request a beach pass daily and enter through the public gate with non-guests. We were hoping for a little more privacy on the beach.The pool is lovely and the location is smack in the city center. If you hate wearing a wristband in public that announces where you’re staying, no worries because no one checks for it after check-in so feel free to discard. The water pressure is too low in the bathroom and the host expects guests to access the utility panel to turn the electricity on and off. Overall, our stay was ok. "

"Our stay was amazing! My family of four was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. My favorite part of the property was the rooftop patio. Even though you can see the ocean from several windows, the patio had such a nice view of the ocean and the mountains, and it was a nice private place to relax while getting that fresh ocean breeze. It was my secret hideaway when I wanted a moment to myself. The location is also near the grocery store, restaurants and not far from tourist attractions either. Perfect getaway!!"
