"me and my wife went here for our honeymoon. it was not a pleasant, isolated, romantic getaway like we thought it would be. check in took a while, we couldn’t get ahold of the host for a while so we didn’t know how to get in and the lock on the gate was confusing. the host was very passive aggressive the whole time and made mean sarcastic comments. the listing is very decieving. we didn’t see anywhere on the listing that people are staying in the other half of the house and that the little cottage you can kind of see in some pictures is also other people staying there. we specifically picked this place and not other cabins because we didn’t want to be by people because we were on our honeymoon. there was a different family on both sides of us every night and sometimes we woke up from people upstairs walking around or kids crying. also the sink barely drains and fills up fast. we didn’t find any instructions for the hot tub and when asking the host for help she was passive aggressive and said “all you have to do is scroll up in our messages and read” even though there weren’t any instructions anywhere. we ended up having to figure it out ourselves and it was very hard. also on the listing it shows kayaks are provided outside and just like it said there were 2 by our parking spot and 3 on the other side for the other half of the house. when asking the host where the or’s were for our kayaks she informed us that our stay doesn’t include kayaks and we can’t use them. "

"Clean and quiet location "

"We loved our getaway! We had everything we needed and it was easy to get in contact with the host. We would easily book this again if we come back to the area."

"*** INFESTED WITH BATS *** After checking in we noticed animal feces all over one of the properties. On the bed, under pillows, floor, dresser, completely disgusting. I was concerned it was from bats, which would be a big health hazard, not that you’d stay in a place that was infested with mice either. I tried to get someone to help, it was challenging. I called 5 or 6 times, no one called back, no one felt any urgency. Finally got a hold of someone the next day, we had to sleep on couches, even then the sense of urgency was lacking. I expressed concern over bats, ultimately that was completely dismissed by the owner who apologized (second to last day of trip) for mice, while acknowledging it was cleaned up, geez thank you. Cleaning crew showed up late day 2, but no one would sleep in an animal infested house, so beds were moved to other building and people slept on floors. I kept telling them if it’s bats, it’s a health hazard you can’t ignore, no one seemed to care. I was refunded 1/3 our cost: for only being able to use 1/2 the building, sleeping on floors and couches and spending time on vacation dealing with this, I thought that was very poor taste. Exterminator came last day, and it was determined it was infested with bats. Not even bothering going into other issues like tubs that don’t drain. Communication was poor, if health agency was called they would shut down the place and issue fines."

"We truly enjoyed our stay in the resort. Lovely quiet wooded surroundings yet close to tien. Quaint cabin with a fireplace and all you need. Would highly recommend to others"

"Everything was perfect. It was such a beautiful house. Amazing kitchen wonderful yard. For us it was absolutely perfect. I feel like the people that left bad reviews were completely unfair because this house is fabulous and Sara is so sweet and accommodating"

"The host is so kind! It was so nice stay out of town but just a few minutes away. The bed is a firm sleep but so comfortable. For a camper the bathroom was very roomy. We will be back! "
