A little disappointed at not realizing two full sets of steps down to the beach and high tide does not allow you to walk around the island. Tumwater is a neutral for me just due to lack of things to do outside of movies, or beer areas. There is great shopping opportunities for groceries, & west Olympia where the mall is is a short drive. Small hiking trail along the deschutes river.
