「We went to Shelton to visit family and found peace, quiet and a beautiful cabin. If you like to hike and are adventurous the owners will guide you to amazing trails. The outside of our cabin was the best. A swing, hammocks, and fire pit. We highly recommend this place. We’ll be back next year .」

「This house fit all 9 of us comfortably. The old house is a little creaky, but has lots of character. Having three bathrooms was a plus! It has absolutely everything. All the kitchen stuff you would need, lots a games and puzzles, a large deck and yard with lots of outdoor furniture and even a propane heater and fire table. We stayed there for my son's wedding at Thornewood Castle, and my whole family had a great time.」

「It was a short stay, but it was easy check-in and check-out. The hosts were kind and supportive. The RV was spacious (including the bathroom), easy to get around in and had everything I could need. Though I did not have time to enjoy the porch or fire pit, it was right there, and the view is amazing. This place is a no brainer.」

「Sweet little house and a smooth process of renting. Great automated communication through Vacasa. House has a happy atmosphere & is well maintained inside and out. Not a ton of cooking supplies so be sure to bring your own if you are making big meals at the house. We were so thankful to have a beautiful and relaxing vacation on the water. 「Very nice house, great place to stay. Lots of seating, both inside and in the different outside areas. We all very much liked it and would gladly stay again. It was our first time on Anderson Island and definitely not our last. A few caveats, though- the driveway is steep, and made of loose gravel. Can be a bit tricky, particularly if your car is loaded with multiple people. The bunkbeds in the main floor bedroom are rated for a weight limit of 165 lbs- so probably just for kids or smaller...

「Get away from it all in a charming tiny home cabin (that doesn’t feel at all tiny). Extremely clean, well appointed, light filled, comfortable cabin - in the woods but not completely isolated.
