Good

Room was spacious and generally clean. A bit too dim in the room and toilet, shower was weak and constantly ran out of warm water. Nice pool and friendly staff. Breakfast was alright.

This place is nice and near diving. I was travelling by motorcycle. Due to rain I arrived a day latter than expected. The staff let me know they waited for me well into the night. There is not full-time staff at a front desk. Hence, if you are delay please contact the hotel. Everything was great and I will stay there again. The dive sites are minutes away. Perfect place to stay for diving. There isn't really a town near by so really the only thing to do there is dive. Enjoy

En arrivant, l'hôtel n'avait pas notre réservation, erreur d'hotel.com ?, ils ont été sympathiques et nous ont donné une chambre dans un autre hôtel pour la deuxième nuit au Liberty hotel. Tout s'est bien passé grace à la gentillesse de l'hôtel, mais avons eu un malaise à l'arrivée car pas de réservation et avons perdu du temps à changer d'hôtel vers 12h.

We will stay again

There are eight spacious villas surrounding a lovely pool. It was peaceful and pretty. Breakfast was nice and the staff very helpful

everything in the resort is great. room is spacious and very clean. very relaxing at the poolside. all the staffs are really friendly and welcoming. but there are not many restaurants along the road. the resort restaurant offers wide choice of food but it was ok only.

Gute Basis für Tauch- und Schnorchelausflüge

Beim Tulamben Dive Resort handelt es sich um ein kleines Hotel mit Pool, bei dem das Tauchen und Schnorcheln im Mittelpunkt stehen. Ausrüstung kann geliehen werden, Ausflüge werden organisiert. Direkt in Tulamben gibt es ein Riff und ein Schiffswrack, die beide direkt vom Ufer erreicht werden können. Die freundlichen Mitarbeiter zeigen einem gerne die genauen Spots. Die Zimmer sind kleine freistehende Häuschen und sehr sauber. Massagen werden auch angeboten, diese finden jedoch, etwas ungewöhnlich, draußen im Freien direkt am Pool statt. Frühstück, Mittag- und Abendessen werden ebenfalls angeboten. Hier gab es für unseren Geschmack aber bessere Optionen im Ort. Das Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis vom Tulamben Dive Resort hat uns überzeugt und so ist das Hotel eine klare Empfehlung, wenn man in der Region tauchen oder schnorcheln möchte.

Hôtel très agréable

Nous nous sommes tout de suite senti bien dans cet hôtel ! Bon accueil, chambre propre et spacieuse. Petits bungalows donnant sur une piscine très agréable. Le petit restaurant est très correct. Très bien situé : à moins de 5 min à pieds de l’epave pour la plongée . Très bonne adresse pour tulamben !!!!

Hidden gem of a resort

This resort was a wonderful surprise, Tulamben, is really just one road with restaurants, dive shops and a couple of general stores, but the resort itself was beautiful, the bungalows were modern, super clean, and arranged around gorgeous gardens, with water features and a swimming pool. The staff were fantastic, helpful and attentive. We had one dive guide for all our dives which was nice. The resort has been quiet since the volcano erupted last year, which is a shame as it really is a little gem, I would definitely stay there again.

Small friendly hotel

This small cottage-styl hotel is modern with spacious rooms set around a swimming pool & garden. The cottages have a patio overlooking the central pool/garden. The staff is friendly & quick to help with yr needs. Breakfast is included & there is an on-site restaurant. The location is also good right on the main road & close to Perana bus stop.

Irresponsible

At 10 pm our first night we were awakened by rapping on the door. A boy said, "you must leave...the volcano is dangerous...the hotel is closing." Outside, cars and trucks were streaming down the hill, away from town. How to leave? We were essentially put out on the street without transportation or any help. Luckily for us, the manager of a nearby resort, Dive Concepts, rescued us, took us down to Amed and found a hostel for the night. I hope the Tulamben Dive Resort never sees another customer.

Quiet, beautiful gardens, affordable luxury

This was the best place we stayed in Bali on our travels. So quiet. Helpful, upbeat and friendly staff. The gardens were kept beautifully and make this place perfect. Rooms clean and huge, great balconies. Bed comfortable. All day sun in the pool but shade somewhere at all times. Close to restaurants and dive places. 10/10.

Very private and intimate

This resort is tucked away nicely and feels like a little isolated oasis even though it is close to the street. The rooms are large and provide everything you need. The porch is a great place to relax with a book and dry your swimwear. The staff are lovely and will help you in any way that they can. There is a nice selection of meal options for breakfast and the restaurant provides beautiful meals for lunch and dinner. the dive staff are very experienced and tailored the diving to what we wanted to experience.

Beautiful resort for smaller budgets!

Quaint and nice. The cottage was wonderful considering the price, and the staff was super friendly and competent. Loved getting my Open water license there, Made has been a wonderful instructor!

Cafard, rat et personnel pas accueillant

Bon confort général mais à peine arrivé dans la chambre qui venait d'etre faite un cafard se baladait sur un mur. Le personnel s'en ait occupé. Le lendemain au réveil un autre petit cafard était dans notre lit, écrasé pendant notre sommeil. De meme qu'une fourmilière passait par un angle de mur. Passons pour le rat qui se baladait à l'entrée de la piscine près du "local" poubelle. De meme le personnel n'est pas très accueillant contrairement aux avis que j'ai pu lire, le sourire et la chaleur du personnel d'une dizaine d'autres hôtels fait avant n'était pas au rendez vous ici. Sans oublier le restaurant et ses crevettes surgelés sorties du congélateur à 2 mètres de nous, alors que l'océan est à 300 mètres. Quand j'ai donc voulu négocier le prix en partant en mentionnant nos désagréments photos à l'appui on nous a simplement répondu que la chambre était propre et qu'ils ne comprenaient pas. Tout cela aurait pu être réparé par un geste commercial

Good easy hotel for diving

Had a pleasant stay at the resort. Facilities are new and room are clean. Diving lessons were great. Breakfast was sub-par, Hotel staff was really young and inexperienced. Internet connection was horrible and wasn’t working most of the time besides early morning and evening

Great Place

Newish hotel, spotlessly clean. Independent chalets so no noise from adjoining rooms, very quiet, great beds, great a/c & neat pool. Bathroom is very good. Hard to find anything negative. Road noise in the restaurant is about all but other than that one of the best places we've stayed in Bali & really great value for money. Diving gear is near new & in top condition, dive staff are very good. On main road but the beach access for diving/snorkeling is close by. Very rare for me to give a 5 rating - Would definitely stay there again.
