"House was very cozy, easy to check in, and full of useful amenities. The jacuzzi tub was my kids' favorite part, as well as the pinball machine. The jukebox was cool but skips really easily so not really something you will use often, but cool to see it working. The pellet stove worked very well and was nice to put damp clothes on to give a quick warm up since it was very cold outside when we visited. Checkout was 10am which came quickly - I was thinking more like hotels that are usually 11am and owner/cleaner was there at 10:04am so we were a bit surprised but packed up very quickly to get out and let him get the cleaning done. Overall, very good experience and even though we didn't use a lot of the additional amenities, there was a lot of things that I bring on my own that I didn't need to like shampoo, coffee, lots of kitchen utensils, etc. So it was more well stocked than I realized it would be - which is always nice. "

"Location is good a little walk to the lake, but a beautiful view. How cozy the house felt. The hot tub was nice after a long day to relax and unwind. My husband and I love to go rock hunting. He’s a geologist so going to Lake Michigan was our number one priority and it did not disappoint. It’s only a little over an hour drive from the house. We also got to go to Mackinac Island, which was really cool to see the horse and buggy all of the bikes and we got to see the arch rock so cool to see in person well worth the drive. The house was good felt clean the only thing the house could use a little sprucing up and a brand new showerhead in the bathroom but we would stay there again."

"Overall it is a great location and base for adventure. Our group met Dr Pol and crew, visited Reindeer Rooftops, Carrie grocery and Yoder’s grocery. Dined at The Herrick House and Mulberry Cafe. The ATV trails made walking in the morning a delight. The black squirrel sightings thrilled my niece. The deer greeted us several times during the day. Michigan was a pleasant place and Lyndsey was a great host and responded un a timely manner. Loved the theme, movie room and secret room. Beds were comfortable. "

"This house was great for our girls weekend! A lot of bunk beds, but we did our best to make it work. Some of our group are older women and it was not safe for them to adventure to a top metal bunk bed, but we were aware of that when we booked. Not a negative, just something to consider. The lake is very "mushy" and not really swim worthy, but a nice view! The indoor pool is AMAZING! The host is wonderful, very responsive and understanding. Tip: Ask for the FULL list of house rules prior to booking to ensure all the rules fit your group needs. Would stay again, but unfortunately the price has almost doubled since we booked last year. Would be perfect for families with kids!!! "

"We absolutely loved our time in the cabins on Chippewa lake! The cabins were very clean and cozy. They were stocked with all the amenities needed for our stay! The cabins are bigger than they look online! A steep walk to the lake but not a problem. The dock and water was perfect for kayaking and playing in the water. Everyone in our family loved the location. It is close to shopping for for anything needed. Also close to a very good restaurant call Roosters! It was a excellent choice for our family vacation! "
