"Another great year at Eight Point Lake. The cottage is spacious, clean, and has plenty of room for our family to spread out. The view of the lake is beautiful from both the inside and outside on the deck. The swimming area is wonderful. It is shallow and great for small children. The host lives next door to the property which makes communication a breeze. We have already booked our next stay and look forward to returning in 2027!"

"Great location to Pere Marquette trails. An easy drive to the West Coast. Cottage was cute, clean, cozy. Hot tub was scrupulously clean and ready to relax in. The lake is within an easy walk from the cottage. Wish we'd had more time to enjoy it! Very quiet neighborhood. Great host communication."

"This was a great place to stay on our recent trip to Evart. We gave 5 stars for the areas of staff (very helpful and friendly) and cleanliness; our room was immaculate, and the rest of the hotel was very clean as well. This hotel is a bit dated and the carpet was worn in a few places, but the excellent staff, cleanliness, and convenient location (right next to the Osceola County Fairgrounds) more than made up for that. We plan to stay here again!"

"My family and I loved our time at Black Bear, and we hated to leave! The lake was warm. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful. The pool was wonderful and larger than I expected. We had everything we needed and more. Even the neighbors were friendly. Connie responded quickly to any questions we had. The surprise gift delivery was such a nice touch. We had a little issue with the spa, and Connie was quick to make things right. Thank you so much Connie!"

"This was a very nice stay on our trip. We loved this place and we were sad we were only here for one night! It was very clean and definitely secluded which was exactly what we wanted after exploring the more touristy parts of Michigan! Communication with the host was very easy and quick response when needed. We will definitely be back when we’re in the area again!"

"It was nice and quiet. My 25 year old daughter and I loved the hot tub! We were able to relax with our family and soak up some good sun! My mother in law was able to join us for good old laughs and cards. Good food over the fire pit and steaks on the grill. Thanks for the wonderful memories."

"Such a great spot for relaxation. Perch lake is a smaller lake without all the traffic, very quiet and relaxing. The cabin is beautiful and cozy. Rented the pontoon and spent a day letting the kids fish and a night sitting around the bonfire. Will definately visit again. There are quite a few places to eat in the area."
