「チェスター市内で宿泊先を探したのですが、好さげなところは全て一杯だったため、隣り町に在るこのマナハウスを予約しました。料金が低廉だったので、メンテが充分に出来ていないのではないかと心配だったのですが、嬉しい外れでした。設備も庭園も充分に整備されています。浴室の化粧鏡は、風呂やシャワーを使っても曇らないよう、電熱入りだったのには感心しました。レセプショニストの女性も親切でした。強いてケチをつけるなら、夕食のテーブルが、混んでもいないのに、食堂入口脇だった事くらいです。然し、この宿泊料で、これだけのところは、滅多に無いでしょう。」

「The Hotel is located in very nice, quiet area outside Chester. The room was very spacious with aircon and spotless. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was good .」

「The hotel is nice. The hotel pub is the same. And the staff is polite. The coffee machine DID NOT WORK in the room. You couldn’t even put the mug (from the hotel room not my personal one) to pour coffee in it because it is too big. In the room there are no sockets. 「The room we had was fairly run down. In particular it had a strong and unpleasant odour. At first we thought having the windows open would help. But part way through the night the smell was so terrible we were awake. In the morning we realised it must have been mildew and mold. 「All I can say about this amazing hotel is that it’s simply wonderful. I was deeply impressed by the hospitality of the staff. The castle was so big that I got lost several times, but the staff kindly helped me each time. Even though I didn’t have a restaurant reservation, they still provided breakfast and dinner without any issue, and I’m truly grateful for that. I would definitely love to stay here again on a special occasion.」
