"The posada is a beautiful old building, perfectly maintained and spotlessly clean. Communication was a little difficult with the owners due to my limited Spanish and their limited English - but we managed! We had a lovely room and a very comfortable bed. It was 4km to drive to the nearest town for dinner. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of choice of local and homemade food. We stayed here on our way back to Bilbao airport after holidaying further west. It is very rural, south of Santillana...

"We couldn't stay there. We made the booking because they said that they accepted animals and whenx we arrived, we couldn't go in becaise our puppy. The lady on the reception was so rude and just shouting is " tje animal cannot be here, let it sleeping in your car". That was so bad, we have to leave and looking for another place in the night, dark and cold. So disappointed."

"We loved San Vicente, and the hotel was one of the main reasons. A clean, comfortable establishment that offers everything you would want for the price. The staff were fantastic. We arrived on a sad day when we needed to connect to the online feed of a close friend’s funeral. Our room was not ready, but they allowed us to use the empty dining room and they ensured we were not disturbed. They alap made some excellent dining recommendations for us. Parking is easy. Ignore the car park and go...
