"Local owned, Super nice staff, free full breakfast. Has mid century charm with modern amenities. Rooms were very clean, property was well maintained. We enjoyed the pool, and access to the creek behind the property. We come to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge a few times per year and have paid much more for way less accommodations."

"This was our first stay at The Appy Lodge: 2 nights on our way home from a trip to Orlando. We were very pleased with our stay! The hotel was very clean, rooms were clean and comfy, and staff was friendly and welcoming. They also offered two pools; one indoor and one outdoor with a slide. Although the outdoor pool was on the smaller side, our son LOVED it. The location is perfect as well since it’s located near the end of the Gatlinburg strip, so you don’t get all that crazy traffic and noise. Plenty of easy parking, too. They also offer a free breakfast, but if you’re looking for something more substantial, next door is a very good breakfast restaurant that took us a minute to walk to. There is also a trolley stop which makes getting around town easy as well. We would certainly stay at The Appy Lodge again!"
