「The property is cozy, comfy, and modern. The bed is comfortable, and the wifi is good which I was thankful for since we had no cell service around here. Plenty of room for the dog to run around. We really enjoyed the fire pit and appreciated the plentiful firewood that was provided. It could be a little loud with the road being close by and people going fast, but there is a sound machine provided in the bedrooms which was very thoughtful. 」

「The house was clean and pleasant; the beds were comfortable; the AC worked well, and there was coffee and filters in the cabinet for the coffeemaker. The house was an easy drive to most of the local New River attractions and restaurants. The shower head was even adjustable between a wide and concentrated spray. 」

「The Ansted apartment was located on Main St in Ansted, a small town several miles from New River Gorge NP and several rafting outfitters which were convenient for our 3 day stay. The apartment was clean and had all the amenities that a family or group would need to be comfortable. Communication was very good and fast with the host who was able to make several suggestions for us. We would gladly stay there again if we were in the area.」

「House was exactly as described and pictured, very clean, great proximity to town, comfortable beds. Only thing that caught us a little off guard, but really can’t be shown in a picture, is a definitely “basement smell” you get in an older house…it was the first thing we noticed when we walked in. Recommend bringing a couple plug-in air fresheners! But, we would still stay ij it again for all of the other reasons cited. 」
