Negligent Host - Do Not Book
I had the misfortune of trying to stay at this VRBO property in Ocho Rios, and it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. The host’s complete lack of communication and unresponsiveness left my group of 9 stranded and without accommodation, ultimately forcing us to drive all the way to Kingston in the middle of the night just to find a place to stay.
Despite numerous attempts to contact the host before our arrival and even while we were standing at the front gate, we were unsuccessful. It is beyond comprehension how a host could be so negligent and irresponsible as to leave guests, especially a group of 9 people, high and dry with no place to stay.
I strongly advise anyone considering booking this property to steer clear. I would hate for anyone else to go through the ordeal that my group and I experienced. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a rental property.
