"Nya is a beautiful property with wildlife all around. I was able to watch a family if howler monkeys from the hammock outside my room. They left me a yummy dessert daily in my room they put in while I was out. The free breakfast menu had a variety of options including vegetarian. "My wife and I stayed at Makanas for 10 nights on May 2024. We definitely enjoyed our stay. The studio is nice ans has everything for the stay. The staff (Vane and Leysi are the best) was awesome and prepared the best waffles and gallo pinto ever for breakfast! I would HIGHLY recomend that if you did not rent a 4 wheeler or a car, find somewhere else to stay because Makanas is very far as a walking distance from either bars/restaurants/supermarkets, and taxis are extremely expensive "
