「The images that were shared in Expedia.com did not accurately portray the property and its amenities. The "gorgeous bar area" was dilapidated and out of use, there were limited food options available in the eating area, the carpeting in the hallway and rooms were very worn and not very clean. 「Lovely location convenient to the ferry terminal and town centre. The host Caroline was very friendly and welcoming. Little extras left in the fridge were an added bonus and much appreciated.」

「港町オーバンの便利な場所にある小さなホテルで駐車場はなかったものの、ホテルの人に「土日は路上コインパーキングが17時以降は無料」と教えてもらえた。 部屋はやや狭めで冷蔵庫なし。特に不便さは感じなかった。 宿泊料金に含まれている朝食(確か朝食無しのプランはなかったはず)の豪華さには驚いた。ビュッフェスタイルでパン、飲み物、ヨーグルト、フルーツなどを取って食べ始めたら、ウエイトレスさんがテーブルにやってきて、どのメニューがよいか？と聞く。メニュー7つほどあり、これ絶対料金だよね、と夫と話しながら値段を探すがどこにも書いていない。思い切って聞いてみたら、無料で一人一皿付いていますと。そして適当に選んで出てきたのが写真のとおり(一部食べかけですみません)食パンに卵、野菜、ハム、アボカドディップなど豪華に乗ったもので、まわりを見渡すといずれのメニューも工夫を凝らしておいしそうでヘルシー！10日間のスコットランド旅行で一番豪華でコスパのよい朝食でした。」

「Checked into our first room, toilet flush inop and a washing up bowl on the side with the toilet fixings hanging off. Reported to reception who moved us to another room with a sauna, sauna did not work, horrendous noise from the kitchen fans and no sea view which we had upgraded to. Back to reception for a second time and had to argue to get moved room again. Third room was terrible, smelt damp, curtains hanging off, paint peeling off walls and cracks in windows.
