From the gravel terrace, with a wooden picnic table and two loungers, you have a fantastic, unobstructed view of the Normandy hinterland. In front of the house is a large, sloping lawn with fruit trees. The interior of the apartment is neat and simple. From the living room you open the doors to the terrace.
The house is between Vire (22 km) and Saint-Lô (27 km). Visit the animal-friendly park of Champrépus (29 km), where several endangered species such as the Sumatran tiger and the Persian leopard are bred. Another insider tip is the town of Villedieu-les-Poêles (21 km) with its bell foundries and copper workshops.
Do you prefer to go to the sea? Then reserve a day for Bréhal (47 km) and Granville (49 km) which, in addition to sandy beaches, also have a couple of highly recommended museums. Of course, sizes like the famous Mont-St. Michel (65 km) and Bayeux (63 km), with the tapestry and museum on the Battle of Normandy, not missing on the program. The imposing ruins of Hambye Abbey are 17 miles away.
