Jungle Lodge Hotel

"The benifits of staying here was you were in the actually park so it was very convenient however we ate at their restaurant and got food poisoning and were horribly sick for 2 days. We had booked a tour and paid for their transportation to get us there the morning we got sick and could not make the trip and had asked due to the circumstances after eating dinner at their restaurant could they refund the trip charge but they would not refund anything. There is no wifi or signal unless you're at the lodge so we could not reach out from our room when we were sick and couldn't leave our room. For the price you pay for this stay it's not worth it. We would not come back. Our recommend it to anyone. Worth more to stay at a nicer place in flores and take shuttle in to park."

"Excellent location to access Tikal. Pool was amazing! We swam in the rain. The bungalows are incredible. We appreciated having power at night to charge phones, even though the main building turns off their generator. The food is great, staff was kind and patient with our limited Spanish. Netting around the beds was a must for night time, worked well and kept the gnats out. Overall excellent experience and highly recommend staying here to explore Tikal. "
