"We really enjoyed our stay. The downstairs space felt very private even with the owners living upstairs, and they were lovely. Our kids (5 and 4) absolutely loved having access to the trampoline which is such a great bonus for families! Lots of space on the deck to play & a nice big umbrella for shade.The location is fantastic, with easy access to the beach either via the road or the bush walk. It's handy to have the dairy and cafe down the road, and Whangamata is so close if you need something else.The bathroom and living areas were spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of bowls, plates, cutlery, and a good set of knives.The sofa bed is not particularly comfortable, but bearable for a few nights.We didn’t end up using the outdoor spa, but the night sky was incredible — we had a beautiful view of the Milky Way.We did notice a few minor cleanliness issues and would be happy to share those privately with the property manager. They didn’t take away from what was otherwise a really lovely and comfortable stay.Overall, it’s a lovely spot and we would happily stay here again when visiting Onemana."

"We loved the location – Onemana is such a special spot, and the house was an easy walk to the beach. It was also great that the property was dog-friendly.Unfortunately, the cleanliness on arrival was disappointing. There were cobwebs, thick dust throughout, and the house smelled like it had been locked up for a long time. We spent the first two days deep cleaning and airing it out.The photos made the house look much better than reality. The outdoor deck is completely rotten, the house shakes a lot, and the planting and trees were very overgrown. Windows and joinery were filthy, and overall the property felt poorly maintained.We understand it’s peak season in the Coromandel, but for what we paid, the experience felt like a rip-off."

"Nice property but unfortunately not well maintained or cleaned. From dirty windows and spiderwebs to mouse droppings, there was quite a bit to make us uncomfortable. Internet and TV both not functioning.The bed was very comfortable with clean linen."
