"Horrible customer service. I left my wallet in our room and the hotel has admitted they have it but will not give it back to me. Unbelievable. Had to file a police report and now I'm going to have to cancel all my cards and go through all the trouble of duplicating everything in my wallet because Latoya refuses to give it back to me claiming I can't prove it's mine which is utterly ridiculous. Rooms are OLD, musty, drains clogged, door handle/lock fell off. Do not recommend. "

"To book a hotel, you should call the hotel first. After choosing it because of all the amenities I needed (pool, hot tub, etc.), I received a message after paying saying none of them worked, even though I could have chosen something better. I didn't cancel because the payment system I used was very slow, and I would have lost my money if it hadn't been processed. The parking was awful; there was too much space for motorcycles and not enough for cars, making it very difficult to park. We also paid a deposit, and it took a long time to get it back, while other hotels are much faster. Otherwise, the service was very good, and they gave my wife a birthday present."

"The host, Noah, was very welcoming. He provided an excellent welcome packet in advance that provided information on how to enter the building & condo. He also provided great restaurant recommendations. He offered additional assistance with anything we might need during the week. He checked in on us several times just to be sure we were ok. The condo is just as pictured. Very clean, beautifully decorated, and quite comfortable. We had several cold beach days and it was pleasant to stay in the condo and look out at the ocean. The view of the beach is stunning from the condo. Morning coffee on the porch is a great beginning to the day. Beach access is so easy. In all, the Van Lee property is quite nice. I recommend this property and my husband and I will definitely stay here again. "
