Great breakfast, great location and lovely staying in an historic property - wonderful potential for a party or fdmily gsthering. Comfy bed and spacious room. Coujd do with a makeover in parts but don’t sacrifice its current charm..

Surprised vaping was allowed at the Bar in total disregard of the law.
Breakfast was minimal, sausage (one) was undercooked and bacon (one rasher) more fat than meat. Half a mushroom, a tablespoon of beans and a greasy hash-brown completed the meal. The Buffet for the Wake was also very poor standard considering the cost of the accommodation. Overall very disappointed.

"Air conditioning did not work. We required an extension lead as there was only one plug on side of bed and we needed two for sleep apnea machines. Check-in was lovely and service. Ample parking."
