"Fantastic stay"

"The whole place smells like mold and ammonia. The elevator is shaky and scary and we had a two day reservation but once we saw the rooms the hand towels had a booger and hair on it. The sink had shaving clippings. We left immediately. We did not even attempt to get our money back…. Just left. It was a bummer because the guy at the desk was very nice but we couldn’t do it. "

"We chose this hotel based on high ratings and were very disappointed. Cleanliness and service were ongoing issues throughout our stay. Dirty breakfast dishes were still scattered through the lobby during the evening reception on multiple occasions. Housekeeping was inconsistent, coming at 8:30 am and then not returning for multiple days despite our requests. The one time they did come during our stay, they took the sofabed linens and didn't replace them, and failed to clean basic messes in the room, only replacing towels and emptying trash. There were also concerns with the pool being incredibly cloudy and dirty during the stay, though they did end up closing it for a day to be serviced and cleaned. We had trouble getting things like pool towels and linens for the sofabed. At the evening reception, they offered some light snacks and drink cards for the adults, but we had to pay over $10 for 3 small cups of soda for our kids, which seemed unnecesary when they have an entire soda machine set out at breakfast. We tried speaking to a manager during our stay multiple times, but one was never available. Shatoya at the front desk was kind and did her best to make things right, but the underlying issues were never resolved. Overall, this stay did not reflect the rating, or our expectations for the brand, which has provided us many beautiful stays in the past. I would NOT choose this location again, and particularly would NOT recommend it for families travelling with children. "
