"Every staff person we encountered from check in, breakfast, to check out was lovely. This is a family run hotel and the care taken is evident. We were there at a quieter time and they have us a complementary upgrade. The room was fantastic, great views, it was pristinely clean and the bed was comfortable (a king size no less!) Breakfast was amazing- some buffet pastry type things plus your choice of individually prepared omelets. We really enjoyed Lixouri, it is quiet and low key, but...

The only issue was the WiFi not reaching the property, but this probably helped me enjoy the local area more. "Astir was literally across the street from the ocean. I did not have a full ocean view from my room, but I could see it from my balcony on the side of the building. It was a single room, so the bathroom was small, but the bed was comfortable. It was a lovely room for the price. The staff were very nice and friendly. There was a bar open in the afternoon/evening with a wonderful view of the ocean. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and I would stay here again. "

"It was great I loved the people so nice and welcoming always there when you need something very prompt at answering and responding. The only thing I didn’t like was the bees near the pool. It made me scared to go into it. They definitely have a nest nearby and also the eight dollar charge per day per that should be noted. "
