Ample parking, good English breakfast. Our experience was slightly marred by a wasps' nest outside the window which meant we had to keep them closed on a very hot evening -- but otherwise all good.

The hotel was really comfortable, and well located just near the motorway. I was a little annoyed that, arriving at 1430, I was told that I would have to pay extra to get my key ahead of the 1500 check-in time - obviously the room was ready :-( The bar/restaurant was quite basic, a little bit canteen-ish, but the food was really good. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom etc was fine...

Wasn't expecting much but room was very pleasant and bed super comfortable. The outside surroundings could do with a tidy up, landlady and lanlord could be a bit more friendly, otherwise very impressed, I'd recommend fans for the rooms, I / we stay away a lot, 10+ nights a month, would stay here again.
