Away from the hustle and bustle of the city of Mangalore, this is a relatively secluded beach. Colorful fishing boats 🚣, beautiful view of the sunset 🌅and some soul searching on a huge rock outcrop (not in pic) extending into the sea 🌊 - just some few things that this beach offers. For the history buffs, it's also famous for the nearby temple of Lord Shiva, which was apparently built at the order of the King 👑 of the Alupa dynasty in 10th century A.D. 😱 Food 🥘 for thought: Don't forget to try the local version of the snack "bhel", which is made out of puffed rice, vegetables, spices, coconut oil and tangy tamarind sauce

What a way to spend early morning hours.. Nothing is better than having to see such a beautiful landscape and magic of sunlight playing hide and seek with light and shadow. This particular bridge where I was standing and taking pictures is a spot where I can see both sunrise and sunset on one spot.. This is the west side.
