「We had a wonderful stay at Fawsley Hall. The interior stunningly reflects the Halls history and the rooms were spacious and peaceful. We dined in the restaurant which was relaxing and delicious. The following morning we had breakfast in bed which was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had at a hotel stay. What stood out the most was the staff. They were impeccable & highly professional. 「A good hotel but some things are not immediately obvious from the property description. The hotel is on a university campus, surrounded by University accommodation. Breakfast is not provided in the hotel itself but in a university cafeteria across the road, but most significantly this may not be open over a weekend, so if you book on a weekend all you may get may be a grab and go breakfast bag. As long as you are aware of this when booking you should be OK as no real criticism of the hotel...

「This hotel turned out to be quite deceiving. From the outside it looked grand when you walk up to it, but in reality it was tired with a 70s/80s building on the side which is where we stayed. Branded as a spa hotel, the spa side was tiny, old and very dated. The pool was very small, the jacuzzi wasnt working and empty. The sauna was tiny, with a door that was hanging off the hinges and had scraped the floor. In the changing room, very few of the lockers worked. The room we had was very small...
