"This hotel has everything to be a gem but it is run down and it can use a good upgrade. Hallways smell like cigarette (not the room) and the floors and rooms could use an upgrade too. The carpets look like they havent been replaced for the past 20 years. Staff SUPER nice and willing to make u feel at home. "

"The downtown location was ideal, with walkable access to restaurants and stores. The retention of the historic character of the building was lovely and the room was clean and well-appointed. However, because of the location along the main drag, parking can be a hassle and traffic noise, especially on a Saturday night, was annoyingly loud. The rest of my stay was very enjoyable."

"The place was so welcoming, clean and Eric was great at communications for entering and eateries near by (many) just a perfect visit. If I could rate a place more than a 5 star, this would be it."
