"Staff at reception—including the manager—were rude and completely unprofessional. When we arrived to check in, we were told our room was no longer available due to a “leak,” which was clearly untrue. We overheard staff discussing “Expedia” before disappearing to the back and suddenly claiming there was no room for us. They tried to send us to another hotel for the night and told us to come back the next day. After arguing, we forced the manager to personally take us there to ensure we actually had a room. Shockingly, he then tried to make us pay them for staying at a different hotel. When we refused, he became hostile, blamed us for the situation, and acted offended that we wanted to cancel—despite them not even having a room for us. Earlier that day, we had also been denied proper luggage storage. We were told their storage room was only for guests who had checked out, which makes no sense, and were instead offered some random unsecured room. This was a complete failure of service, handled with dishonesty and aggression from start to finish. "

The door is always opened for and you're always greeted with a warm welcome. If you need anything during your stay, they will make sure you have it within minutes. Whether it's extra towels, help carrying your bags, or even booking transportation, they are there to serve you and always with a smile. The breakfast buffet is top notch and a great way to start your day before exploring the city. And you couldn't ask for a better location. The hotel is across the street from the Gloucester road Underground station which houses two of the most accessible tube lines. It makes getting around London a breeze. This is definitely the place you want to stay on your holiday."
