「The Salty Dog was just as lovely as the photos we saw online. It's has beautiful water views and is a short walk to the dog friendly beach. Wendy and Mark were wonderful hosts and thought of every detail. From snacks for both us and our pup upon arrival as well as a very detailed Welcome Book with information about the apartment, dog friendly restaurants, and things to do in the area. 「Very nice room and en suite. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Appreciate the coffee, wine, and water provided. Ask if your room is upstairs or downstairs if the spiral staircase would be a problem for you. The street traffic is a little noisy but didn’t really bother me. 」

「Nice large rooms with plenty of amenities. Good breakfast. You are asked to park on the street half a block away, but the area is very safe. The hotel is operating out of a old historical house. I have to climb up 3 flights of stairs to reach my room. Do not recommended it for travelers with disabilities. 」

「Cozy vintage beach cottage. Easy access to beach, quiet. Perfect for offseason getaway for a few days. People have been coming back to these cottages for decades for good reason. We loved the kitchen with full size appliances and lots of space. Pack your groceries and cook all your meals here, the cottage was perfect for a family of 4. Comfortable beds in two bedrooms. Nice living room/dining room. We spent four nights and were not disappointed. 」

「The house was great and perfect for multiple families. There were a few small hiccups such as trash pick not happening the day it was supposed to so it still had the other guest’s trash and we ran out of room for ours but the response was almost immediate and the trash was picked up within less than an hour of us messaging! The area was also great. We had a group of 15 for reference and we all had plenty of room!」

「Just stayed here for 5 nights while vacationing in Myrtle and we LOVED it! The resort itself had so much to do we really didn’t even need to leave. We spent so much time going between the beach and all the pools and my kids loved the children’s splash park. 」

「definitely will be coming back to this resort! i booked the same day and process was smooth and easy!! was only there for one day but has direct access to the beach. many play water areas for the kiddos. truly was more than what expected, for the price it was. there is a $100 deposit on top of paying stay but u get it back if everything’s fine. truly enjoyed!」
