The place was wonderful: great location, well maintained and clean. But the service was exceptional - Sherry is an incredible host, attentive to every detail and wish. She prepares a fantastic breakfast and accommodated our every wish and need without being in our space often, like at some hotels. Historic house in beautiful area with loads of character and updated with plenty of comforts. Very walkable to downtown Wilmington and the river walk. I LOVE this place!! I’ve stayed many times over the years, and it’s such a lovely, quiet place to relax and rejuvenate. The property is gorgeous, with an enormous front porch and crazy lush gardens! The owners and staff are so very kind and accommodating. Not only are the rooms a PERFECT retreat, the property is nestled among the most gorgeous historic homes in downtown Wilmington. Walk just a few blocks to the waterfront and all of downtown! Awesome restaurants, coffee shops bars.
