「A lovely one night stay. A couple of things I think to improve on. 1. Have the hot tub ready for guests to get in once they arrive. We waited an hour & a half to heat before it was warm enough. 2. A mini fridge in the room to keep drinks cold & milk rather than have to collect from the restaurant. 「Having arrived in the town, I was called by the owner stating the toilet in the room had been flooded or something by previous guests and so there was no room for me to have. I then had to spend double the cost of the room on another room, and so now need to claim my money back. This was not helped by there being a music festival going on and most rooms in the town were already occupied. Yes the guy was very sorry and all that, but this was half an hour before I was due to check in.」

「First time visit to England from US to visit my sister and nieces who live nearby in Upwell. We wanted a place with AC as we are a bit spoiled as americans when it comes to AC, and found this place near Ely on a fishing lake. It was an exceptional find, to say the least. Close to Ely, the shops and cathedral, and not a far drive to many other places, including Cambridge. The hot-tub was nice, setting beautiful, and hosts were excellent too. Honestly couldn't have expected anything better, and...

「I was in one of the cheaper lodges not overlooking the lakes and closer to the bins. Lodge was clean overall and simply equipped with the standard fittings. I didn’t use any of the restaurants on site and check in was very easy. 」

「It was very nice. The only and major downside was there was no one there ever. The chap who cuts the grass showed us where we were staying but the owners/staff weren’t there once that we saw.」

「My partner and myself stayed here for 2 nights. The pod it's self is tidy, clean, small kitchenette with microwave and toaster, also there is a breakfast hamper, the fridge is stocked with the basics. The pod opens out onto a beautifully kept Japanese garden with Koi pond. Ian and Caz are great hosts and are at the end of a text or call if there are any problems. There is also a hot tub available which just topped off this amazing little retreat. Myself and Darren will definately be coming back....

「This accommodation has everything you could need on a break away from home. Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely view over the golf course, We saw Deer, squirrel, pheasant and other wildlife. Alistair our host, was very helpful and attentive to our needs. Rosemary and Derek. 」
