"Our family enjoyed our stay. It was very unique and super convenient for the cruise that we were going on. It was extremely hot as you can imagine for Texas in July but the AC worked very well. I would highly recommend for anyone coming in a day early for a cruise to stay here."

"The house was clean and there was plenty of room for our group of 12, the pool was really nice for the kids, the only down fall for the kids where the game room just had one game that worked, the site online shows 4 games. there was one room without a window shade that my granddaughter really would have like to had at night."

"A very unique experience that our family enjoyed. The Silverfoot is quite big. We had plenty of room for two adults and 4 kids. Wandering around the rail yard after hours is really fun. Location is very good. Easy to walk to the Strand and the sea wall. Getting in and out of the property can be a bit tedious as you have to call the caretaker to unlock the gates but he’s very responsive. The guest fees go to help support the rail museum which we liked. Overall we would recommend and would stay again."
