"We LOVED our stay! We were offered dinner - a chicken and potato curry- which we took them up on. It was by far the best meal I’ve had in NZ- home cooked, tasty and so flavourful! We loved the garden area and the deck. It was one of our best stays. 100 percent recommended!!"

"Room was clean and well kept up. Staff were super helpful and we enjoyed the food and atmosphere next door at the adjoining bar. For longer stays it may feel a little basic, but for a one night stop over it was perfect."

"Mel made sure to make the place feel cozy and unique! Everything was delightful and well taken care of, she is also an amazing communicator with great local recommendations. This stay is well worth your time and I will be reccomending it to anyone who comes to the area!"

"Cabin has a bad smell (note on wall stated it was recently varnished but did not have this smell). Shower went hot then cold on and off which made for a very unpleasant experience. Overall i would recommend to get an ensuite and skip the cabin to stay. Friendly staff but overall not a pleasant stay for the price."
