Central Park Motor Inn
Short notice booking in Taumaranui, options are limited but plumbed for this motel and quite happy with the result. No prizes for looks or views but otherwise a serviceable and very clean room. Weirdly the vanity doors were coming apart but everything else was v good.

A great affordable holiday for our family of 6. Evan is a friendly host. We particularly enjoyed the walk through the bush around the little lake. Inside the house, the fire is warm, the shower is a good pressure and we had all we needed. It does get cold overnight though so keep the fire going. ...

Haven: Ruapehu Accommodation - great value

Tekoa Lodge a truely beuatiful location , that is quiet, secluded and private .
Tekoa Lodge was perfect for our family ski trip. House is very warm with the woodburner going. Lots of space inside and out. Very short drive to the mountain. The private bush track down the river is also very cool. We would certainly stay again. Oh, and David is an excellent communicator.
